People who are associated with the organization are persistently doing research work for the empowerment of yoga and allied science.
Kriya Yoga Peeth International Yoga School was founded by Akhanda Baba. After a decade to Teach Yoga and offering his own brand of specialty trainings and retreats, Akhanda felt a call to offer a better yoga education than was widely available. He aimed to start a Yoga School that was respectful to all traditions of yoga and stemmed from all lineages.
He invited his own mentors, teachers, friends and yogis in order to curate phenomenal yoga experiences. The goal was simple: create great quality yoga education. Make it heartfelt. Create community. Make it accessible to as many curious people as possible. In addition, Akhanda wanted to offer amazing experiences in nature and new cultures for her students to discover with the yoga practice as a base.

I highly recommend this school. It is easy to get drowned in the multitude of yoga school options in Rishikesh. After looking around for a month for a school I decided on this one. The caliber of teachers are excellent. The location is beautiful. The atmosphere created by Swami, teachers and staff facilitates learning and self growth. The ashram location is a great spot to be, very close to the ganga.
